ABOUT CLIMATE DESIGNERS
Climate Designers is a global collective of over 1000+ members. Local chapters are run by volunteers across the world. It is an initiative born out of San Francisco, at a creative studio called the Determined.
Being a Climate Designer, I've started my own local circle aimed at driving efforts towards creating a more sustainable Bangalore. Climate Designers is a platform for anyone truly willing to fight this cause along side us by bridging the intention-action gap. We are the first international chapter and currently the only one in Asia.

ThemesWe’ve covered session speculating about a Resilient Bangalore 2.0, decoding the sustainability index of our meals, participating in the Open IDEO challenge to reduce the use of single use plastics, explored the livelihoods of marginalised communities along the rivers of India, making composting at home the new normal and bringing climate change education in the mainstream.
Speakers : Our guest speakers come from platforms like TEDx, local organisations for sustainability like Veditum, Daily Dump, and Bring Back Green and alumni of institutes like NID and Yale University.
Ongoing Project | Climate Education Kits for Children
We’re currently working towards creating a kit to introduce climate education into the curriculum. We aim to bring climate education into the mainstream, creating an urgency and attention necessary. We’re making the cause for climate change actionable at an early age through a 100% Earth friendly, application-based, highly scalable solution in the form of kit that grows with you .
